The three-day break from racing is the longest in the calendar but spare a thought for the stable lads and lasses who are working over the Christmas period. While traditionally, the gallops are a little more quiet over the festive period, many will still be ridden out and all need feeding!
As ever, Solario Racing’s owners gave generously to the Stable Lads’ Christmas Box at Harper Lodge Farm and Cropredy Lawn, so on their behalf a big thank you.
