THE run up to Christmas is always quiet on the racing front with three days of no racing in Britain. However, service will be resumed on Boxing Day with a bumper eight jumps meetings and an all-weather card at Wolverhampton. Highlight of the day is always the King George meeting at Kempton and who will take Kauto Star’s crown? His half-brother Kauto Stone, previous winner Long Run or one of the rising stars in the jumping ranks, Grands Crus? Or will the champ A P McCoy’s first ride on The Giant Bolster be a winning one? Whatever the outcome it is sure to be a race to savour.
Solario Racing’s last possible runner this year could be Roman Senate on Friday at Lingfield. He should get into the race but Martin will make a decision on Boxing Day whether to run.
In the meantime, SOLARIO RACING would like to wish all its owners, prospective owners and racegoers everywhere a very peaceful and Merry Christmas!
