Martin Lane -spins Gunning For Glory on Friday
GUNNING FOR GLORY has his first racecourse gallop this Friday at Kempton Park and Martin Lane has been booked to ride.
The 2yo son of Indesatchel, owned by the Solario Racing (Amersham) partnership has done plenty of work in recent weeks but will benefit from a sharpener on the racecourse with a professional jockey on board. Martin is one of three main jockeys that Martin Bosley likes to use (Luke Morris and George Baker being the other two) and he will be able to give a view as to the horse’s likely trip. At this stage, we’re probably looking at a mile.
Martin Lane, who was just touched off by a whisker at Wolverhampton on Solario Racing’s Roman Senate back in August, is currently enjoying his best season numerically with 53 wins to his name this calendar year.
