Amy – in seach of Group 3 glory
MANHATTAN JUNGLE, who has had five of her six races in France including three wins, heads across the Channel again when favourite for the Group 3 Eclipse over 6f, at Chantilly today, due off at 4pm.
She has already been 2nd in a Group 3 and was last time out fourth in the Group One Prix Morny, so today’s drop back in Grade should suit. Her only below par performance was when midfield in the Queen Mary at Royal Ascot but that was on Good to Firm ground. She loves cut in the ground and today’s Good to Soft will suit.
Jockey Tony Picone, who has ridden her four times, twice successful, is again on board and the 2/1 favourite should go very close to bring more euros to Southgate Stables.
