LOTHARIO MAKES BELATED DEBUT

Lothario - makes debut at Windsor

Lothario – makes debut at Windsor

LOTHARIO, the well bred 4yo grey gelding by Dark Angel out of a Sadler’s Wells mare, makes his belated racecourse debut today when one of sixteen runners in the 8.15 at Windsor tonight, a 1m2f novice.

Costing £150,000 as a yearling, he has always shown promise at home but has been plagued with injuries and both owners and trainer have had to be very patient.

Clearly lack of racecourse experience is likely to tell but that’s why he’s a 16/1 shot and although whatever he does tonight, he’ll improve for the outing, he’s probably worth chancing each-way at a double figure price.  Robert Winston rides.

There is seemingly a lot of dead wood in the race but John Gosden’s twice placed Cassini, is a worthy favourite at 7/4 and is the one to beat.
