LIBRISA BREEZE STEPS UP TO GROUP COMPANY AT YORK

Robert Winston - rides Librisa Breeze

Robert Winston – rides Librisa Breeze

LIBRISA BREEZE, second in the Royal Hunt Cup and then winner of the International at Ascot last month, moves up a gear today when lining up for the £150,000 Group 3 Skybet City Of York Stakes over 7f and due off at 3.05pm.

Winner of four of his nine starts, this lightly-raced 4yo son of Mount Nelson deserves his place and if the threatened rain arrives, that will not be a problem as he has form on easy ground.

Ten go to post and the obvious danger is favourite, Nemoralia, who has the best form and represents Jeremy Noseda.  Other threats are So Beloved and Forge but if Librisa  Breeze can improve, the grey gelding has a good each-way chance at 5/1 under Robert Winston.

Twin Sails - runs at Goodwoo

Twin Sails – runs in a competitive mile handicap

Twin Sails is Dean’s other runner today in the 4.55, a £50,000 mile handicap and this highly competitive 3yo handicap is very difficult to call.

With form on a fast surface and having been in good form of late, the Ivory charge has an each-way squeak at 20/1 but he is not well drawn in 16 of 17 and dangers abound including Banksea, Bobby Wheeler and Arcananda.  P J McDonald takes the ride.
