LAURENTIA was the winningmost horse in the yard last year with four victories to her name. Ater a break she ran well last time out to be fifth, beaten just two and a half lengths at Lingfield and a pound lower today, she could bin the mix in a 1m 1 1/2 furlong handicap at Wolverhamtpon (6pm).
There are two non-runners, so just seven go to post and the daughter of Iffraaj, a previous course winners, is a 6/1 shot under jockey George Downing in a competitive race. Dangers include Never Said Nothing and Michelle Strogof.
Earlier on the card, Fighting Temeraire is 25/1 to win a 7f handicap, due off at 4.55pm. He hasn’t won on Tapeta but was runner-up over course and distance last autumn and has an each-way squeak under George Downing. Dutch Decoy looks a major threat.
