DEAN runs two tonight at Kempton, One Cool Daddy in the 6.15 and Higgy’s Heartbeat in the 8.45 and both look to have it all to do.
The former is making his debut under Jack Duern in a mile novice and although this expensive purchase (95,000 guineas as a 2yo) is a nicely bred son of Scat Daddy, he is drawn 12 of 12 and is pitched against some useful types with form such as Mandalayan and Low Profile while newcomer West Wing is an interesting newcomer from the John Gosden yard and is strong in the market. One Cool Daddy by contrast is easy to back and is out to 22/1.
Also weak in the market is Higgy’s Heartbeat who is a 66/1 shot in the 6f handicap. Again, he is not well drawn (10 of 12) again, Jack Duern rides. The 4yo son of Acclamation also has a six month absence to overcome, so he will face easier opportunities.
