Dean Ivory – 21% strike rate this year
KADRIZZI won the third race of his career today on just his eighth ever start when first past the post in a valuable Conditions race at Chelmsford today for trainer Dean Ivory.
The 3yo son of Hurricane Cat, one of five horses in the yard rated 100 or more, beat Field Of Vision by three-quarters of a length over 5f under Robert Winston, thereby netting the £19,000 first prize. He cost just £25,000 at the breeze-ups last year and has only been out of the prize money on two occasions.
This was Dean’s sixth win of the 2016 campaign at a very healthy 21% strike rate.
