IVORY PASSES £300K BARRIER FOR SECOND SEASON RUNNING

Dean Ivory – passed £300k in prize money

DEAN IVORY eased past £300k in prize money yesterday for the second season in succession courtesy of Tropics’ second in the Group Two Champions Sprint at Ascot yesterday.

The 6yo son of Speightstown earned nearly £79 thousand for another fine second yesterday to add to his Listed win and a second in the Group One Darley July Cup at Headquarters in the summer.

Dean’s total  prize money for the year stands at over £321,000, his second highest in a thirteen season career to date.  While it may be a tall order to pass last year’s record £367k total, the Master of Harper Lodge Farm intends to be busy until the end of the calendar year, so there are sure to be more successes to come, even if it is at Kempton and Wolverhampton rather than Ascot and Newmarket.
