Dean Ivory – in great form
DEAN IVORY continued his superb recent run with another victory today at York, courtesy of Lancelot Du Lac.
The 3yo Shamardal colt, who was the third leg of a stable treble two weeks ago when victorious at Newmarket, won the 0-95 3yo 6f handicap by half a length under Jim Crowley.
The success was win number 31 for the stable this year and it propelled Dean past the £250,000 prize money barrier. The yard is creeping ever closer to its best ever wins total, 33, achieved in 2007. With just under four months of the season to run, that target looks an odds on certainty.
