BREATH OF BLIGHTY PICK OF WEBBER FIVE

Mr Banks - runs in the 2.20 at Warwick

Mr Banks – runs in the 2.20 at Warwick

PAUL WEBBER has five runners today at Warwick and Breath Of Blighty looks to have the best chance in the 2.50, a 13-runner 2m mile novices’ hurdle. Second last time out behind subsequent Cheltenham Festival third Buveur D’Air, at 5/1 he has sound each-way credentials under Liam Treadwell.  However, favourite Drumlee Sunset is the big threat. Cropredy Lawn’s Mr Banks bids to put his disappointing hurdle debut behind him when lining up for the opener at 2.20.  The longer trip of 2m 5f will suit and hopefully cheep pieces will help but he’s a huge outsider at 66/1 under Charlie Poste.  We would just like to see him put in a better round of jumping. Bayley’s Dream is the outsider of the party in the 3.15, while in the 4.20, Paul runs Miss Tongabezi and Cosmic Diamond.  The former at 16/1 has an each-way squeak.  However, it looks a day for the fancied runners. Dean Ivory saddles just one runner today, six-times winner Varsovian in the 8.15 at Kempton, at 6f handicap.  Although five pounds higher than his last win, he is well drawn on the inside and has an each-way chance at 6/1.  Renato Souza rides.
