Teston – runs at Goodwood
TESTON is having just his second run for the stable today, when lining up in the 4.45 at Goodwood, a one mile one furlong handicap and Hollie Doyle is in the saddle.
The five-times winning 7yo son of Rio De La Plata has had his problems and bled from the nose and suffered an irregular heartbeat on his last start for trainer Ivan Furtado at Newcastle last December.
He was well beaten at Thirsk at the end of July on his first start for Amy, so it’s difficult to know what to expect but the booking of Hollie is a positive sign.
He will like the good to soft ground and at around 16/1 is a big price. Last out winner, Good Birthday is an obvious threat in a tricky race.
