HELLO GIRL is the stable’s only runner today when lining up for the opener at Windsor (2pm) and the chestnut filly needs to defy the widest draw (16) if she is going to trouble the judge.
Fifteen line up for this six furlong handicap and the lightly raced daughter of Bated Breath has lost her way somewhat in recent runs. She won two years ago over five at Wolverhampton when rated 70 and is now rated 57 on the turf.
Her wide draw and lack of recent form are off putting but the stable is in good heart with three winners last week, so she may be worth a second each-way look at 10/1. Franny Norton takes the ride in what looks a very open and trappy race.
