Tropics – eyeing big prize money in Dubai
DEAN IVORY’S three top-rated horses in the yard left for Dubai yesterday in a bid to win some much coveted prize money.
Tropics, Sirius Prospect and Lancelot Du Lac rated 115, 108 and 108 respectively all had winning seasons in 2014, with the first mentioned also coming second in the Group One Darley July Cup.
The three horses will stay in Dubai for some time, competing in various races at Meydan with Tropics probably running in Group company at some stage.
There is no doubt they will find the weather in Medyan rather more hospitable and inviting than the wind and the cold they left behind in Radlett! We wish them well.
