HAPPY NEW YEAR!

AS a very wet 2012 draws to a close, we look forward to a drier 2013 with less abandoned race meetings and better ground everywhere.

Unfortunately, Cheltenham will have to wait for its first meeting of 2013 as the New Year’s Day fixture has already been called off.  Let us all hope the west country in particular begins to dry out and who knows, perhaps come March, we might get some decent jumping ground.

Solario Racing was like everyone in racing affected by the weather but 2012 was still a fabulous year with the great Frankel carrying all before him.  Who will light up the flat in 2013?  Maybe one of our two exciting two-year-olds – the Amadeus Wolf filly or the Rebellion colt?

Before the turf seasons begins, Solario Racing will be busy on the all-weather with Roman Senate looking to get his head in front and Gunning For Glory seeking to build upon a very promising debut just before Christmas.

As the countdown to the chimes of Big Ben striking midnight draws ever closer, however and wherever you are celebrating, Solario Racing would like to wish everyone in racing a Very Happy and Prosperous New Year!
