Tindaro – one of two Market Rasen runners for Paul Webber
GWAFA is the rising star in Paul Webber’s stable and the grey 5yo son of Tamayuz can make a bold bid to defy top weight in today’s Befred TV Summer Handicap Hurdle (Listed) at Market Rasen today (2.15pm).
Winner of three hurdle races in his last four, he won the Pertemps (aka The Swinton) last time out and at 5/1, he has a good each-way chance in a competitive race under Richie McLernon.
Paul also runs Tindaro at Market Rasen in the 2.45, a Listed Handicap Chase. He’s a big price at 33/1 but will like the ground and is handicapped to run a bigger race than his odds might suggest. Richie McLernon is again in the saddle.
Dean runs three today, Cappananty Con, a 125/1 outsider in the Weatherbys Super Sprint in the 4.10 at Newbury and two at Haydock, Sirius Prospect in a three-runner Conditions event at 8.05 for which he is the 5/1 outsider and Goldslinger who is a 14/1 shot in the 8.35, a 1m6f handicap. Robert Winston rides both horses but they need to improve on recent form to take a hand.
