GUNNING FOR GLORY continues to progress on the racecourse and he ran a fine race yesterday at Lingfield Park in a 3yo mile maiden when beaten just 3 1/2 lengths.
This was only his second outing and he is still quite weak. Also, his jockey, Stevie Donohoe reported that the horse didn’t handle the bend and lost his action. As a result, he was not over hard on him in the closing stages.
Yesterday’s race is sure to throw up future winners. GFG’s first race has certainly done that in no uncertain fashion with the second, third, fourth and fifth all subsequent winners.
Yesterday’s outing also pleased the trainer and his wife, especially as Mrs Sarah Bosley received Best Turned Out for “Des”.
There are limited shares available in Gunning For Glory, so if you’d like to get involved in a ready made runner (and likely winner?) please contact the Racing Office on 01442 877 597 for details.
Oh and if you’re wondering why Gunning For Glory is known as Des…he’s a son of InDESatchel!
