Robert Winston - two good rides for Dean Ivory

Robert Winston – two good rides for Dean Ivory

FIGHTING TEMERAIRE is one of two Dean Ivory runners today when he lines up at Newmarket (4pm) in a 7f handicap and the Good to Firm going should suit.

Last time out at Royal Ascot, he did not shine on the soft but previously this season, he has arguably been unlucky not to get his head in front, having been a fine second in two good class 7f handicaps at Doncaster and Haydock.

Tomorrow, he faces six opponents and the drop back to seven and quick should see the Invincible Spirit colt in a better light.  Robert Winston rides and the 9/2 shot will hopefully show his class.

Robert then moves on to Lingfield for Spinning Rose in the 8.30, a 1m2f handicap on the all-weather.  Winner over course and distance in a selling handicap last time out, the filly will hopefully have gained confidence from that win and she has a solid each-way chance at 9/2.

Paul Webber’s Dunnscotia, another 9/2 chance, has each-way possibilities half an hour earlier in the 7f handicap at 8pm under 7lb claimer Georgia Cox.
