Cheltenham 2012
FOUR days and counting until the Starter shouts, “Jockeys!” then let’s them go for the Supreme Novices Hurdle and 60,000 people holler the Cheltenham Roar.
Have you picked your winners! This is not easy given the competitive nature of the Festival and by the fact that so many horses have more than one entry.
Then there’s the usual rumour factory which this year happens to centre around dual Gold Cup winner, Kauto Star. Still, the “Will he or won’t he run” question fills up plenty of column inches in the press and ramps up the publicity.
Sceptical? Who? Moi?
Whether you’re going for the Gold Cup, attending two days or if you’re of stout pedigree, taking in the full four days, I hope you enjoy the greatest jumps show on turf.
I will be back at base camp watching on terrestrial TV in between finalising plans for Solario Racing’s jamboree…our Gallops Morning on Sunday 25 March.
There has been huge interest in what promises to be a marvellous day at Bowstridge Farm with fabulous Solario champagne hospitality. But it’s not too late to reserve your place.
