FLYER CAPABLE OF RESUMING WINNING WAYS

Fantastic Flyer - has first time cheekpieces

Fantastic Flyer – has first time cheekpieces

FANTASTIC FLYER, one of three stable runners today, is capable of resuming winning ways when lining up for the 3.45 at Wolverhampton today, a 7f handicap.

She won twice over the distance in April at Kempton and Chelmsford before  recording two fourths at the same two tracks.  Today, she has first time cheekpieces and if they have the desired effect combined with a first run on Tapeta, she could reward each-way backers at 10/1.  Joey Haynes rides the Harbour Watch filly for the first time.

Nezar returns to Dunstall Park, where he has won his last three races when one of 12 runners for another 7f handicap, due off at 4.15pm.  He is weak in the betting at 25/1 but does have Sophie Ralston on board, who won on him last time out. The 8yo chestnut may be a shade high in the weights.

Lothario runs in the 6.50 at Chelmsford and this course and distance winner, who may have been over the top when last seen out at Doncaster 25 days ago, could spring back to life under Robert Winston.  Drawn four of nine, he is a backable each-way price at 10/1 and has been supported in the market.
