Nezar – runs at Kempton (8.15pm)
FANCY FLYER and NEZAR have both come in for support at Kempton this evening in the 6.15 and 8.15 respectively.
“Flyer” is one of thirteen runners in the novice auction stakes over 7f and is one of just two horses with ratings, both on 68. The Archipenko colt steps up to seven furlongs, having been running reasonably consistently in eight previous runs over five and six furlongs. The mount of Rob Hornby, who has ridden the 2yo in six of his races, he has been nibbled at into 12/1. If the longer trip suits, he is of each-way interest.
Two hours later, Nezar, ridden by Jack Duern, also runs over 7f in a 0-75 handicap. The 7yo son of Mastercraftsman is rated 76, two pounds higher than for his last two wins, both at Wolverhampton. He has been backed into 10/1 and also has each-way possibilities.
