Fantastic Flyer - joint-favourite at Chelmsford

Fantastic Flyer – joint-favourite at Chelmsford

FANTASTIC FLYER bids for her seventh success within twelve months when one of eight runners for the fillies’ handicap over 6f at Chelmsford tonight.

The 5yo daughter of Harbour Watch is a dual course and distance winner, including last time out under Sophie Ralston and the 5lb claimer is again in the saddle.  Up three pounds for her last win, she may well be up to winning off her higher mark of 75 and she is joint-favourite at 5/2 with Second Collection who has been very well supported in the betting.  Fantastic Flyer is expected to go close.

Archdeacon hasn’t run for 59 days but he’s back at Chelmsford (8pm) over 1m2f, the course and distance over which he had his sole victory to date in May of last year.  He’s a 14/1 chance today and weak in the market but he wouldn’t be without a sqeak with Sophie Ralston claiming five.  It’s a tight contest with Lady Of York, the mount of Joey Haynes and the favourite, Tebay wo principal dangers.
