Tangramm – runs at Wolverhampton
TANGRAMM sports first-time blinkers in the opener at Wolverhampton today (4.50pm) and that seems to have caught the imagination of punters who have backed him from 33/1 into 16/1.
One of 13 runners in the 1 mile 1 1/2 furlong contest, this course and distance winner is well handicapped, is drawn nicely in stall six and has the services of George Downing. If the blinkers work, Tangramm looks to have a good each-way chance.
Nezar is 25/1 in the 6f handicap at 8pm and although also well handicapped and a course and distance winner, he is drawn badly in ten and is arguably better at 7f. Sophie Ralston rides.
