FIRMDECISIONS, a dual winner at HQ in May of last year but winless since, is handicapped to go well in the 3.40 at Newbury today.
The 6yo son of Captain Rio has been out of form this year but he is five pounds below a winning mark and if he regains his form of last year, could be interesting each-way at 20/1 under Robert Winston.
It is a typically competitive handicap and dangers abound including Von Blucher and Gunmetal but the 7f trip and Good to Firm ground will suit. He might be just worth chancing to make it win number thirty-one for the year for Dean Ivory.
