Dean Ivory – another win with Firmdecisions
FIRMDECISIONS followed up his win last month at Chelmsford over seven furlongs with another win yesterday over course and distance for Dean Ivory.
The 6yo son of Captain Rio is a real seven furlong specialist having achieved all seven of his career victories over the trip. He also gets on well with Pat Cosgrave, the winning jockey yesterday as the pair have been united for four of those seven wins.
Rated 84 yesterday, he is still well treated as he was winning off 91 last year at Newmarket, although of course this was on turf. Hopefully, the hat trick is on the cards before the end of the year!
The win brings up the 33rd win of the year for Dean Ivory and his Harper Lodge team, who have recorded their best ever year, for the fourth season in succession, with over £600k won in prize money.
