FELICIDADES TINDARO!

Tindaro

TINDARO’S 900 mile long trek to the Spanish racecourse San Sebastian was a worthwhile excursion after victory yesterday in the Gran Premio de Donostia.

The 7yo was the eldest of six runners in the Conditions event for 3yos+ over 1m6f and the Oscar Urbina ridden grey did The Tindaro Partnership proud in prevailing by a neck to win the first prize of £12,500.  The victory saw the son of Kingsala pass the £100k barrier in prize money.

They talk about trainers targeting races.  Well, Paul Webber certainly targets this race as Australia Day won it two years ago and was fourth last year.

San Sebastian is known as the Spanish Deauville only some say even better!  Located some 20km from the French border in the Basque region of Spain, what a fabulous place to have a winner.

Who knows – perhaps one of Cropredy Lawn Racing’s exciting two horses by Rail Link and Kalanisi will be bidding for Spanish glory at San Sebastian in the not too distant future?

Both youngsters will be on the gallops on Tuesday 16th and Saturday 20th September at Cropredy Lawn.  If you are thinking of getting involved in this wonderful new venture, why not come along and see two potential equine stars?  Please call Racing Manager, Simon Double on 01442 877 597/07769 183 362 to book your place.
