ELJADDAAF is a well handicapped horse going into the 7f handicap at Chelmsford tonight (7.55pm) but his hold-up style of running does mean he needs luck if he’s to prevail.
While he probably prefers Kempton, he has won at Chelmsford and if they go a decent pace for him to aim at, he could look overpriced at 16/1.
Joey Haynes rides the nine-times winning son of Shamardal who, though a length behind the winner, Extrodinair back in March, has the beating of him at the revised weights today.
The horses are generally running better now and Eljaddaaf, due a change of luck, is worth a look each-way.
