Dors Toyboy – makes fibresand debut
DORS TOYBOY has his first run on fibresand when lining up for the 7f handicap at Southwell today in the last race on the card, the 7.40 and if the grey gelding takes to the surface, he has recent form which gives him an each-way chance.
George Downing rides the 16/1 chance, who has come in for some support and if the son of Dark Angel repeats the run of two of his last three outings when runner-up, he could go close in a tricky contest in which the market is 7/2 the field.
Stake Acclaim has completely lost his form and is the 50/1 outsider in the 5f handicap at Southwell (6.40pm)where he too is making his fibresand debut. The 79-rate sprinter has not beaten a horse home in his last five races and has come down the handicap 23lbs in the time. George Downing rides.
