DON’T LOOK DOWN FACES TOUGH TASK

Don't Look Down - tough ask at Wolves

Don’t Look Down – tough ask at Wolves

DON’T LOOK DOWN, who ran well on  his debut at Wolverhampton last month returns to the track this afternoon in a ten-runner 1m4f novice and he has not easy task on his hands.

Not only is he drawn wide, 10 of 10 but he faces stiff opposition among those who have run including two horses rated in the mid-80s (Legal History and Podemos) and Jaquar, ridden by the champion jockey.  Godolphin are represented by an unraced Dubai colt, Dress Coat trained by the in-form Saeed bin Suroor, so Don’t Look Down faces a mountain to climb!

However, he is in good order at home and 22/1 could look a big each-way price after the event.  Jack Duern rides claiming 3lbs.

Later at Wolverhampton, Favorite Story is a 14/1 shot in the lucky last, a 1m 1/2f handicap, due off at 5.20pm.  Jack Duern again does the steering and the 46-rated Ivory runner has an each-way squak.

Gergorian Girl has it all to do under Robert Havlin at 100/1 at Newmarket in the 5.25, a 6f fillies novice.
