TWO of Thewayyouare’s first crop, Never To Be and Toast Of New York both hold 2014 Derby entries in England and Ireland respectively.
Never To Be, trained by John Gosden and winner of two of his five starts as a juvenile over 7f and a mile is officially rated 81 and this £31,000 purchase is an exciting prospect for this season. He is one of 406 early entries for the Investec Derby and whether he makes Epsom on June 8th, it is too early to say but he is a colt of considerable potential.
Toast Of New York, with two runs out of four, won a novice by 16 lengths and is rated 21 lbs higher than Never to Be on 102. The Jamie Osborne-trained 3yo is one of 87 entries for Curragh’s blue riband on June 28th.
Thewayyouare was not only a Group One winning 2yo for trainer André Fabre and a half-brother to four-times Group One winning Peeping Fawn but as a sire, he has made a great start to his stallion career.
Solario Racing has a two-year-old by Thewayyouare from the sire’s second crop, in training with Dean Ivory. He is an early foal out of a Desert Prince mare, from the family of Vert Amande, Indian Rose and Groom Dancer, all Group One winners.
This exciting 2yo is being syndicated in 1/12th shares and is available for private viewing. Please call the Racing Office on 01442 877 597 or email info@solarioracing.com to see him go through his paces either during the week or at a week end. Family and friends welcome.
