Dean Ivory – on course for record year

DEAN IVORY, the Master of Harper Lodger Farm, may have had a quiet August but he is still on course for a record year, both in terms of winners and prize money.

Kadrizzi, a winner at Ascot’s Shergar Cup Meeting, was the only success for the stable this month but many were placed and historically, the yard does well during the final third of the year.

During each of the last two years, Dean has sent out 14 winners from September onwards. Despite the recent quiet spell, the stable is just less than £40k short of a record year for prize money and just 10 winners away from the best ever year in terms of winners.

Roman Legion

Solario Racing’s Roman Legion is currently having a quiet spell but is one of many Dean Ivory juveniles who could help Dean to break both records before the year is out.

If I were a betting man, I’d have a double on Dean achieving both!
