DEAN IVORY continues in a rich vein of form as Mosman won at Wolverhampton tonight, making it the yard’s third winner out of the last nine runners during the last 14 days.
The 3yo son of Haafhd was winning for the first time on his 11th outing but this was just his fifth race for Dean Ivory. He had previously run some good races at Wolverhampton and although he had not shown too much recently, the Fergus Sweeney ridden gelding was beginning to look well handicapped.
The Master of Harper Lodge Farm was enjoying his 38th win of 2013, five more than his previous calendar year best, recorded in 2007. The strike rate is also an impressive 17% and record prize money stands at over £358,000.
Solario Racing has four horses in training with Dean Ivory and we are expecting some action on the polytrack during the coming weeks. Maybe we can help Dean get to 40 winners for the year.
