DANCINGINTHEWOODS, who was second, beaten a head at HQ three weeks ago, bids to go one better at Ascot today in a 3yo only 0-85 handicap over 7f, due off at 5.55pm.
He is drawn 4 of 11, has Joey Haynes aboard and will like the going (Good, good to soft in places). The 82-rated son of Garswood has good form in the book and has been progressing nicely at home. He’s an each-way shot at around 15/2.
It’s a competitive Ascot handicap but probably the main danger is the lightly-raced favourite, Double or Bubble.
