NEZAR is the stable’s only runner today when lining up in the 7f handicap at Wolverhampton today at 6pm and the course and distance winner is very weak in the market at 22/1.
The eight-year-old son of Mastercraftsman’s form has been rather in and out of late but he is only a pound higher than his last win in March of last year which was at Dunstall Park over 7f. His last run, when seventh of seven at Kempton last month was after a three and a half month break, so if he can improve for the at run, he has the form to be in the shake-up.
The most likely winner is favourite and the mount of Adam Kirby, Martineo but Jack Duern won on Nezar last year and he has an each-way at big odds.
