Dors Law – running consistently of late
DORS LAW has been a model of consistency this year with form figures of 14233 and the Lawman filly has solid each-way claims in the 2.50 at Wolverhampton today at odds of 12/1.
Drawn five of ten in the 1m 1 1/2 furlong handicap, she should be there or thereabouts under Rob Hornby. The main dangers are probably Street Poet, New Street and Emigrated.
The same owner, Mrs Doreen Carter has Nicky Baby in the 3.25 at Dunstall Park. Still a maiden after 16 starts, his claims may be less compelling but the 1m 4f 0-55 contest is rather a weak affair and if one forgives the grey gelding’s last two runs, he would have an each-way squeak at 9/1. Again, Rob Hornby rides. It’s an open race and one in which it is difficult to find the winner.
