Sweet Sienna – run at Kempton in the 6.55
DEAN IVORY sends out three to Kempton this evening including Tangramm but market confidence is not very high behind any of them.
Sweet Sienna makes her racecourse debut in the 6.55, a fillies’ novice event over 6f. The £60,000 daughter of Harbour Watch is drawn widest of all which will not help her cause and the 12/1 shot may have better opportunities. The odds-on favourite Magical Forest looks the one to beat.
Half an hour later at 7.25, all-weather specialist, Tangramm, who won the Winning Most Horse of the Year for 2015/16 on the all-weather with nine victories, tries to continue his winning spree. One of twelve runners in the 1m3f handicap, he is friendless in the market at 16/1.
Finally, at 8.25, Eljaddaaf is around 12/1 for a 7f handicap but he has disappointed the last twice.
Robert Winston rides all three and while has has won on all of Dean’s 13 winners this season, the horses are not firing on all cylinders at present. The rape seed and pollen seems to have affected some of the horses’ breathing and they seem to be running below par.
