Classic Charm – good chance at Nottingham
CLASSIC CHARM and BRUYERE go head-to-head at Nottingham today in the 3.25, a 0-70 handicap over an extended mile and it’s a close call as to which will come out on top.
Both need soft ground which they will get (it’s Soft, heavy in places) and both are progressive horses. the Solario Racing runner is a course and distance winner and is 2lbs well in on the handicap but she had a hard race at Lingfield last week on one of the hottest days of the year, so the race may come a bit soon.
Bruyere is an expensive lightly-raced filly by Exceed And Excel who could be much better than she’s shown so far. The mount of Robert Winston, she’s come in for support to 4/1 and is vying for favouritism with Classic Charm, the mount of Joey Haynes, who is around 7/2..
Both should run well but maybe the solution is a forecast!
