Charming Kid – good chance at Lingfield today
THE STABLE has just two runners on the last day of the year, both at Lingfield and the first of the duo, Charming Kid is well drawn in stall one of five to land a blow in the 5f handicap under George Downing at 12.25pm.
He likes to attack in his races and is well placed to do so and there has been money for him this morning. The son of Charm Spirit is two pounds worse off than in future handicaps but he is still well handicapped on his 2yo form and at around 7/2 looks worth a look in an admittedly tight handicap.
Fighting Temeraire is one of 11 runners in the 7f handicap at 2.25pm and would have an each-way chance at double figure odds. He is drawn in eight which is okay (he has won over course and distance when drawn 15 of 15) and nearly always gives his running.
In a year in which winners have been hard to come by, we wish the stable’s runners well on the final day of 2020.
