Soaring Spirits – each-way chance at Brighton
IT may not be Royal Ascot but SOARING SPIRITS likes it at Brighton and he runs in the 8.20, a 7f handicap and this dual course and distance winner has a lot in his favour to run a big race.
Trip and course are fine, he has the blinkers on and Sophie Ralston, claiming 7lbs, is in the saddle. Add to that the form of the stable with four winners in the last five days and the chestnut gelding looks to have a sound each-way chance at 8/1.
It’s a competitive low-grade handicap and there are 15 runners but the son of Tamayuz has been in fine form of late, particularly at the Sussex track and he should go well.
