CAN KERRERA FOLLOW UP?

Sophie Ralston - rides Kerrera at Chelmsford

Sophie Ralston – rides Kerrera at Chelmsford

KERRERA bids to follow up her win last time out at Chelmsford over a mile when returning to the track over course and distance at 6.30 but will she deliver?

Having only gone up 2lbs for her win and with her still being 12lbs lower than when winning at HQ  in 2017, in theory she has a good chance.  However, she has had her problems, she’d probably prefer further and the stable is out of form.  The mare, the mount of Sophie Ralston, is weak in the market at 10/3.

Fighting Temeraire is the mount of Adam Kirby in a 7f handicap due off at 6pm at Chelmsford. The horse unseated the same rider last time out and on his best form, could be given a chance.  However, he’s weak in the betting at 12/1 and confidence cannot be high with the yard out of sorts.

Hopefully one or both can bring about a change in the fortunes of Harper Lodge Farm but Librisa Breeze was a big disappointment yesterday.
