BRUYERE GOING FOR REPEAT WIN AT YARMOUTH

Bruyere - bidding for repeat success at Yarmouth

Bruyere – bidding for repeat success at Yarmouth

BRUYERE runs in the 3.109 at Yarmouth today in a 10 furlong handicap in an attempt to win the race she won last year off exactly the same mark and in the same heavy conditions as she’s encounter today.

She was off the track for 314 days before needing the run on her comeback at Nottingham nine days ago.  She should be sharper today and has each-way claims at 8/1 under Kieran O’Neill.

Kerrera is a 40/1 shot for the 1m3 1/2 furlong handicap at 2.25 at the same course.  She is a stone below her sole turf win back in July 2017 when with Paul Webber but that was on good ground.  Her all-weather win at Chelmsford last year was off the same mark as today, so in handicap terms, she is a player but the ground could be an issue.  Sophie Ralston rides, claiming 5lbs.

Eljaddaaf is 20/1 in the 4.20 at Yarmouth, a 6f handicap but this prolific winner on the all-weather has only ever had five runs on the turf.  Again, ground could well be an issue

Ground will not be a problem for Lothario who runs in the 6.10 at Kempton, a mile handicap on the all-weather.  He is  a course and distance winner and is well handicapped and despite a wide draw in 12 of 14, he has each-way claims at an overpriced 16/1 under George Downing.
