BROXI has his second run of the year and his second for the yard tomorrow, when one of 16 runners in a decent 7f handicap at Newbury and although a 50/1 shot, he’s fancied to outrun his price in the 2.50.
He ran well at Kempton towards the end of March when beaten just three lengths and he’s been dropped 3lbs. Tomorrow’s 3yo only handicap is fiercely competitive and probably not the race to be expecting the stable to break its duck for the year but the son of Kodi Bear has plenty of ability and he won twice last year on good ground over 7f.
George Downing, who rode him at Kempton, is on board and there will be worse 50/1 shots this season to back each-way.
