Broxi – runs at Ascot
BROXI is having just his third run for the yard when lining up in a tough Ascot handicap at 4.05pm and he has been dropped in trip to six furlongs.
A dual winner over 7f when with Keith Dalgleigh, he was rated 97 for his last run with the trainer back in October of last year. He is now down to 85 and will hopefully appreciate the drop back in distance. If he does, this talented son of Kodi Bear might be overpriced at 33/1. He has each-way claims ybder George Downing in a hot race in which Crimson Sand looks a worthy favourite.
The yard also runs Moonlit Cloud, who is making her debut in a 16-runner maiden over 1m 1/2f at Nottingham (7pm) with Joey Haynes on board. She is a 50/1 chance and her lack of experience is likely to tell.
