BOSLEY & BUSTER SECOND IN SIX BEST LEGS

Martin Bosley & “Buster”

MARTIN BOSLEY and young pup, “Buster” went for gold yesterday in the Six Best Legs at the Chalfont St Giles Show but came away with silver, or to be more accurate a blue rosette!

The Chalfont St Giles Show is one of the oldest shows in the south east, going back a hundred years and Solario Racing had a stand to promote its forthcoming Yearling Parade on Sunday 14 October.

The highlight of the show was the Royal Signals White Helmets display team, a daredevil motorcycle stunt troupe but there were various side attractions including sheep and dog shows.  “Buster” aka the Bowstridge ASBO Kid made a bold show for glory with owner Martin Bosley but they were pipped to the post by a black Giant Shnauzer and his owner.

Martin was gutted to be in the runner up spot.  “We’ve definitely got a touch of seconditis this week, first with Roman Senate at Kempton on Wednesday and now at the Chalfont show!”

On one of the hottest days of the year, the crowds flocked to a fabulous family village show and Solario Racing was out in force to promote the Yearling Parade.   We were delighted with the response and there’s no doubt Bowstridge Farm will be hosting its biggest ever event on Sunday 14 October.
