Blaze Of Hearts – trip should suit at Nottingham
BLAZE OF HEARTS is the stable’s sole runner today when one of seven horses lining up for the 1m 1/2f handicap at Nottingham this evening (6.20pm) and the drop back in trip should suit.
He dropped away in the final furlong of the 1m2f handicap at Windsor last time out but his two wins have been over a mile and 1m1f and with some respite by the handicapper as well, he is primed to run a decent race under Jack Duern, who claims an invaluable 3lbs.
Course and distance winner, Eponina is a red hot favourite but 9/1 for Blaze looks too big and he has each-way claims.
Librisa Breeze ran well on Sunday when fourth at Deauville in a Group One, as did Wotadoll last night at Windsor when runner-up, so may be the yard is about to hit the target.
