ANNIESUELLA, the talented but fragile 3yo filly by Whipper went to Kempton for a racecourse gallop yesterday and Martin Bosley was delighted with how she went.
She made her racecourse debut at Lingfield earlier this month but the jockey, Neil Chalmers reported she hung left, so Martin has been keen to iron out the problem. Yesterday, she did a spin around Kempton’s polytrack under apprentice Kirtsen Smith with Arachnophobia (Zac Baker) and a Red Clubs 3yo (Anthony Freeman).
Kirsten had Anniesuella on the inside rail and after picking up the pace in the home straight, all three horses finished upsides and the jockey reported there was no sign of any hanging.
The plan is to get a second run into her during the next two to three weeks. She’s a filly that needs plenty of kid glove treatment at home but with more racing experience under her belt, if she stays on the straight and narrow, her undoubted natural ability will eventually translate to the racecourse.
