ANNIESUELLA, the 3yo filly by Whipper has her racecourse debut tomorrow for owners Attwood-Coggon-Edwards-Neville, when one of 14 runners in the 7f fillies’ maiden at Lingfield on the all-weather, due off at 5pm.
It’s been a less than easy road to get her to the track as physically and mentally, she’s been quite tricky. However, like all talented fillies, while she may have her moments, she could be worth it!
Tomorrow however, she’s really up against it. On pedigree, being related to several Listed and Group winners, she’s not out of place but on price, this £5,500 filly is swimming against the tide. But then she doesn’t know how much she cost!
As she is quite spooky, we’ve done plenty of stalls practice with her but there’s still a big unknown as to how she’ll behave tomorrow. If she goes in and comes out reasonably smartish, we’ll be happy. In addition, being only one of two fillies not to have had a run before, the big outsider is likely to be very green. We’re just hoping she enjoys her first racecourse experience under jockey Neil Chalmers.
