Amadeus Wolf filly (Zac Baker) on the gallops
THE AMADEUS WOLF 2yo filly bought at Doncaster’s Premier Yearling Sales last August is now cantering on the gallops and progressing very nicely.
After warming up in the indoor school, she goes down to the gallops and does two hack canters over two and a half furlongs. The beautifully bred filly, out of a dual-winning Kris mare and a half-sister to seven winners, has made good progress physically over recent weeks. One of her owners, who was up to see her canter on Saturday, remarked that she had grown and physically, she certainly seemed more than up to the task on the gallops. Mentally too, she has a nice attitude, although I’m reliably informed she can be something of a madam in the box when it comes to tacking up! However, when she’s someone on her back, she’s absolutely fine and is doing everything asked of her.
