THE beautifully bred Amadeus Wolf filly was backed yesterday and all went very well.
She has a lovely temperament which has stood her in good stead during the breaking-in process. Zac Baker (brother of jockey George) had the leg up on her and rode her on the lunge in the indoor school.
Today, the first owner to sign up in her came to see her being ridden and he was very impressed with the filly’s attitude and approach to her work. Despite yours truly clicking away constantly with the camera, she didn’t turn a hair.
The weather however has certainly turned of late and it did not take long for the filly’s coat to go, so she has been clipped. While her coat looks quite different from when she stepped off the lorry after the sales, she looks well and has soon adapted to her new life at Bowstridge Farm.
By a Group One winning stallion out of a dual winner, this half-sister to seven winners is proving popular with owners. If you would like to come and see her going through her paces, you are more than welcome. Please call the Racing Office on 01442 977 597 to arrange a viewing. Family and friends are welcome.
